Storage Solutions for Stuffed Animals - Animal Bags

It’s quite amazing how much kids love stuffed animals.  My daughters beg for more every time they see just about any stuffed animal.  Sometimes I break down and get one (if it’s inexpensive enough) and they play with it for the whole day.  That’s it. One day. Then it’s tossed into the heap (ahem, stuffed animal basket) and forgotten about just like the poor animals before it. So I ask sometimes, “Can we get rid of some of these?” The response? “No! No! We love them all!” Of course they do!

My niece, who is now eight, has an entire armoire filled with stuffed animals and still asks for more.  Sure, they’re cute, but I still don’t get it. I suppose I don’t have to “get it”; I just have to “get them!” 

I spend a good amount of time each day walking around my house and practicing my right hook while I pick up a stuffed animal from here and there and toss it into the rather large wicker basket that is now the stuffed animals’ home.

My daughters’ beds up until recently contained quite a collection of stuffed animals at the foot of the bed. I say recently because they have both now decided that since they are growing, there’s not enough room on the bed for them and all the animals.  So the animals are all over the floor and in different locations throughout their rooms and closets.
