Harry Potter Merchandise, Movies, Games, and More

Harry Potter is certainly not lacking in popularity these days.  In fact, the popularity of Harry Potter books, movies, toys, and more has been very high for a number of years!  Perhaps with the end in sight as far as the Harry Potter movies and books go, the series is even more popular than ever.  In fact, Universal Studios recently opened its doors to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, the latest attraction at the theme park (it’s included with the paid admission) where you can walk the streets of Hogsmeade and experience thrilling rides and attractions that bring Harry Potter to life.  You can even tour the Hogwarts castle!  There are rides, dining, and plenty of shopping all within this attraction. 

Well, if you’re not able to get to Universal Studios, you can still experience Harry Potter at home with all of the books and movies readily available.  Here’s a list of the Harry Potter movies in order: 

J.K. Rowling hit a home run with her first book in the Harry Potter series. The movie version tells its story about Harry Potter and his first days at Hogwarts after finding out that his parents were a witch and a wizard... 

Unlike many sequels that we've all seen, this one was just as good and popular as the first and it continues to leave viewers and readers wanting more, more, more ... this one tells the tale of Harry's second year at Hogwarts.

Sirius Black has escaped from Azkaban prison and for some reason seeks revenge on Harry in this action packed story; Harry and his friends are now teenagers!

Although this film does continue to have plenty of "magical" action going on, it also highlights Harry's (and his friends') growth into puberty and Harry's first crush...

A looming war of good against evil is threatening to ensue and Harry must form a secret society to take care of himself and his friends...

This is the one where the audience learns that Harry is "The Chosen One" and therefore the only one who can defeat Lord Voldemort in the end. Critics say that this one may be the best film in the series to date.

This movie was released April 15th, 2011 and is therefore now available for ordering! Harry, Hermione, and Ron take off in this film in a search for the remaining five horcruxes in order to destroy them.
