Quesadillas Made Easy with a Quesadilla Maker

Okay, so maybe I’m not as much “in-the-know” as I thought I was, but I only just found out that there was such a thing as a quesadilla maker!  Some of you may be saying “Why pay money for a quesadilla maker when you can make quesadillas easily in a pan that you already own on your stove top?!”  Well, sure, you can do that – but can you seal the edges of each wedge for easy, mess-free serving? I think not!  This quesadilla maker also allows you to get evenly browned tortillas without the need for extra oil or butter; it has a wipe-clean non-stick surface.  Also, there’s no need to flip over the quesadilla for even browning, which – for me – is always a tough job.  Whether you’re feeding your family a meal or snack or you’re hosting a party, quesadillas are always a hit! 

This quesadilla maker is designed to make perfect quesadillas in 4-5 minutes with 10-inch tortillas.  Simply evenly place the filling on the tortilla and make sure to leave about a half inch around the edge free of filling so the maker can seal the edges.  This item even comes with recipe ideas.  You can use smaller size tortillas in the unit, just be sure to not put too much filling in it or it will ooze out.  If you do end up with an oozing mess, however, simply wipe with a damp paper towel right after removing the quesadilla and that’s all!

This quesadilla maker measures about 12” x 12” x 6” and is easy to store because all you do is wrap the cord loosely around the base and stand the unit up for easy compact – vertical – storage!  I think the fact that you can store it vertical makes this small kitchen appliance even more attractive – aren’t we all short on storage space in the kitchen?
